Hi there, welcome to my page! On this part of my update, I would like to show you the final outcome of my page and also some of the work in progress that I have been doing to complete this assignment.

The picture above shows the final outcome on dreamweaver.

As a team, we managed to come to a conclusion of using the same buttons and also a suitable template. As you can see from the picture above, the buttons are nicely organized. Those several buttons lead you to different pages that my team has designed! I am in charged of facilities of Batang Ai. Above, you can see that I have placed several pictures there.

My part is pretty straightforward, I inserted the flash that my team has designed on the top and inserting the buttons there. Those that I have typed on my page are actually what I have been researching on since the middle of the assignment. Pictures that I have taken as well are off the internet as I do not have any pictures of Batang Ai.

The template is pretty cool and simple at the same time. First, let's talk about the flash. Our team worked on creating the flash and using it for our website. It's pretty simple. Choose a space on your template and then on the top, CLICK INSERT and then MEDIA and lastly, choose SWF.

Next are the pictures, you can insert image by CLICKING INSERT and then click on IMAGE. Or another shortcut would be pressing CTRL + ALT + I. It's very simple!

SOME OF THE SOURCES THAT I'VE USED.

I would like to thank my lecturer, Dr Ken Neo, my tutor, Kak Nur, my team, Hydrogen and give credits to those website owners/writers in completion of this assignment.

Hi there, as title would explain, I would like to show a little progress on my 3rd assignment.

DESCRIPTION
Well, I've always liked websites that are organized and user friendly. Every single detail, whether words or pictures should be something that is easy on the eyes of the reader.

OBJECTIVE
My part for this assignment would be to explain a little bit of the facilities available in this national park. For this, since the park does not really have many facilities, I would break it down into 2 parts, which is In-park facilities and Off-park facilities. What I would like to allow people to see is basically what they can expect to use near and in this park.

GUI DESIGN

Well as you can see, on my left side would be some of the buttons that I will design that will be linked to related websites for example, small history of the place itself and the middle would be filled with pictures and texts that would really brighten and form interests in another person's eyes to see this place and also the right side would be some of the links that will navigate them away from my page.

The picture above shows the buttons I've created.

For my background, since it has been decided, we will use one of the rainforest picture that we have already planned and also most of the stuff inside would be using white, green and yellow to actually focus on nature in this place.

FLOWCHART

The picture above shows my flowchart on how I will be demonstrating or rather showing the facilities around Batang Ai National Park. The gallery will be filled with pictures using flash to show a pictures of the facilities that are available and the text will be some of the description of the facilities around

TOOLS USED
Basically, the tools that I will be using for this would be Photoshop, Flash and Dreamweaver. Photoshop will be used to edit some of the pictures and also used to design some of the buttons. Flash will be used to display several pictures in video mode. Dreamweaver will be used as a platform to create and design my website.

Well, as you can see from the title above, this post and this blog will be dedicated to Batang Ai National Park. Reading through will allow you to understand and visualize how the park might look like.

Batang Ai National Park is a place where Orang Utans live as they are an endangered species in this planet. Other wildlife such as gibbons and hornbills also has a place called "home" in this park. This park is located in Sarawak. Batang Ai National Park is also a water catchment to Sarawak's only artificial lake. Batang Ai Hydo-Electricity Complex which is a part of this dam, also provides a certain amount of energy.

From Kuching, this park is about 250km away and because of this hot spot for tourist to visit, there is a longhouse and Hilton Longhouse Resort that provides accommodation for visitors after their trip.

The community around this area is the Ibans. Ibans usually stay in a longhouse. In this longhouse, they have a chief that takes care of everyone's safety and also makes decisions in certain dilemmas. As you can see, the longhouse resorts that are owned by Hilton are actually copied from how the Ibans live as a community.

Also, around this area, water is their main transport. Clear, fast and refreshing are the words that describes the rivers. An hour of upstream boat ride, the visitors can actually see the forests of Batang Ai. The forest in Batang Ai are so beautiful with drooping trees that hang across the rivers.

As you can see, because of the wide surface area of the water, you can actually do river rafting here!

With all the pictures and some description of Batang Ai National Park, this ends post about Batang Ai National Park. Thanks for reading!
